Lembeh Strait - place which ruined my diving forever

(December 2016)

Lembeh Strait was on my Must Travel Wish List ages. I knew it's gonna to be good, but I had no idea, that this macro paradise could ruin my diving forever.

Lembeh is a small island located at North Sulawesi, on Manado island. My choice for place to stay was NAD Lembeh Resort, because of its photography equipment and dive guide ratio 1:2. In 6 days I made exactly 20 dives, included 5 night dives, which I normally never do. Why? This place just blew my mind off dive by dive, day by dive. I just never wanted to leave.

Diving here is not about searching the creature and hoping you find it.
It is about moving with your camera from something you have never seen before to something you have never seen before :D. Each few meters your dive guide finds something new for you.
It is about seeing unidentified blob of something, which you can hardly see by your eyes, and you guide writing on the chart "this is a hairy shrimp and it is pregnant" - what you see clearly later on your Lightroom screen.
It is about ticking out of your wish list everything, and adding new stuff every day.
It is simply THE BEST DIVING I HAVE EVER DONE AND SEEN IN MY LIFE.

My wish list was very very long. I have seen it all and even much more. And I am definitely coming back asap, as I can not dive anywhere else from now :D
