Freedive Liveaboard - Abu Nuhas, Ras Mohamed, Tiran

(November 2016)

This trip, which I almost cancelled couple of days before its start, became one of my best. One week on the liveaboard, but not as a diver or dive guide, but as a part of new project, which we start with one of my lovely freedive friends. Anastasia, freedive instructor and amazing woman I love, was having some students for freediving, and I accompanied the trip as a photographer.

More than one week journey started at Abu Nuhas by some most famous wrecks, continued to Ras Mohamed, of course included SS Thistlegorm, and ended at Tiran, which was a place new to me, with spectacular diving and colorful soft corals.

No men around, no rumors or competition. Just relax, chilling, lots of yoga and freedive exercises, some theory, lots of diving, freediving and shooting. This time with girls was absolutely priceless and my mind relaxed a lot during this trip.

I had only one full day to improve my freedive skills, but I finally managed to equalized by head down, and make some progress in equalization. We were just waking up early for yoga or stretching, having lots of fun, watching sunrises and sunsets, eating great food, and cruising the amazing Red Sea.

We came back with incredible memories, many ideas for new projects and fresh mind to survive cold winter in Dahab :D.
